Balance sheet hierarchy levels
The GL data model uses the glsahierarchy.csv file as input to build the balance sheet hierarchy. This file contains the hierarchy levels and their respective identification IDs called ObjectID for balance sheet elements. The default file format is downloaded from the Infor Distribution Analytics General Ledger Account Mapping File Download dashboard. The hierarchy levels can be modified in a spreadsheet application, such as Excel, to suit your company's balance sheet hierarchy and then uploaded to the Raw Source space.
The ObjectID should be unique for each entry in the map. The ParentID is the level under which one or more ObjectIDs fall under. For example, you may have an Assets account, under which you have Current Assets and Fixed Assets accounts. Each account has its own Object ID, but Current Assets and Fixed Assets share the same ParentID, which is the Assets ObjectID.
