Configuring GL hierarchies and accounting maps

The General Ledger data model in the Infor Distribution Analytics content provides default dashboards, reports, and KPIs for balance sheet and income statements based on General Ledger hierarchy definitions. These definitions are built upon GL hierarchy and accounting maps that are downloaded and modified, and then uploaded into the Raw Data Source space in Birst.

Review this section to understand how the default GL raw sources are organized. The GL data model makes use of these raw sources for hierarchy definitions in your income statement and balance sheets.

Before you access the GL reports and dashboards, complete the steps for downloading and updating the hierarchies and account maps.
