Batch call process enabled for kits in Sales Order Entry

Batch call processing can now be enabled for Sales Order Entry-Advanced Line Entry when entering a build on demand kit item with a large number of kit components.

When you select Use Advanced Polling Interface Logic for Designated Service Interface Calls in SA Administrator Options-System-General, you can select the OEET Line Validate with Kit - oelinevalidate service interface call from the Available Advanced Polling Calls list.

With this service call selected, when you enter a build on demand kit item in Sales Order Entry, the batch process is initiated. The batch process runs outside of the normal Service Interface calls, which must complete within a system timeout limitation of one minute. Batch call processing allows the time required to validate a kit with numerous components when you add the kit to a line in Sales Order Entry to complete without timeout errors.
