New business rule controls large lockbox batch file sizes

When Customer Entry Lockbox Update Report is run manually or automatically during a BOD-generated import, it may fail to complete if the lockbox batch file is too large. You can now set up a new business rule in SA Business Rule Setup, Lockbox Batch Split Processing, to split any lockbox batch file that exceeds the number of records defined for the Rule Value.

A fix was also made to ensure all batches, including split batches, are deleted after the update is complete.

Feature activation

To activate this feature, access SA Business Rule Setup and search for the Lockbox Batch Split Processing rule. Specify a value in the Rule Value field. We recommend that you specify 500 records for the business rule's Rule Value as a starting point to manage your larger lockbox batch files.

Note: If you have existing Customer Entry Lockbox Update Report batch files that cannot be processed due to their size, contact Infor Support for assistance with a support utility that can be run to analyze oversized lockbox batch files and split as needed.
