Customer 360 improvements to Customer Inquiry

As part of the Infor-wide Customer 360 improvements, numerous enhancements were made to Customer Inquiry. The enhancements include several new tabs that provide quick access to critical information about your customers:

  • Overview

    Includes a summary section that provides basic details such as customer's address, including their logo and phone numbers. Key performance indicators (KPIs) are added for Last Sale Made days, Last Sale Amount, and On Order amount. This banner presentation also include links to the customer's social media accounts on Linked In, Twitter, and Facebook.

    Other sections on the Overview tab include Sales Overview, Sales Info, and Credit Info. Sales Overview includes YTD and Last YTD Sales, Cost, and Margin amounts as bar charts. Sales Info illustrates these same values as donut charts, with a drillback to the Order Details tab. The Credit Info tab shows the customer's available credit based on their credit limit, and other credit history. Drillbacks are available from each billing period balance to view the related detail on the Transactions tab.

  • Order Details

    Shows a list of orders for the selected customer and includes a drillback link for each order number to Sales Order Inquiry.

  • Pricing Records

    Shows the list of pricing records that are defined for this customer in PD Pricing Setup. Each pricing record includes a drillback link to the PD Pricing Setup record.

  • Product Restrictions

    Shows the list of products that the customer is restricted from purchasing. These are records that are set up in Product Restriction Setup-Customer Detail.

  • Ship To

    Shows the list of customer ship to records created for the customer in Customer Ship To Setup.

  • Customer Reservations

    Shows the list of reservation records created for the customer and any associated customer ship tos in Product Customer Reservation/Forecast Setup.

    Note: Only customer reservation records are shown, not forecast records.

For information that is displayed in a grid, you can take advantage of the grid features such as filtering and Export to Excel. You can also use the Additional Search section on each view to refine the information that is shown in a grid.

Feature activation

All users who currently have access to Customer Inquiry will have access to the new tabs when your tenant is updated to version 2022.11. If the new tabs are not displayed, you must re-apply the security for the sub-functions for aric by selecting the Subs option in the Options grid in SA Operator Setup-Function Security and selecting Set Function Security. Do this for each operator.

To configure a customer's logo and social media accounts, you must use Infor Document Management (IDM) to associate the account URL and logo file with a Customer Image document type.
