Product restrictions for product lines updated
Setup and processing logic for product restrictions that are based on product lines have been updated. These changes were made:
- Warehouse field availability in
Product Restriction Setup is conditional.
The Warehouse field is now only available when the Allow Restrictions by Warehouse option is selected in SA Administrator Options-Products-Product Restrictions.
- New hierarchies are used to find product restrictions by product line in Sales
Order Entry. Products are restricted from sale when the values from the sales
order match the values on a product restriction record.
When Allow Restrictions by Warehouse is selected, this hierarchy is used:
- Product line, warehouse, and ARP vendor
- Product line and ARP vendor
- ARP vendor
When Allow Restrictions by Warehouse is not selected, this hierarchy is used:
- Product line and ARP vendor
- Product line, warehouse, and ARP vendor
- ARP vendor
