Entering counts

After you perform a cycle or physical count, enter counts in Product Count Entry. If you found products during a count, you can add them to a run in this window.

  1. Select Product > Entry > Count.
  2. Specify the warehouse and run number from the count sheets, and then click Search.
  3. For each ticket number, specify the quantity you counted in the Quantity Counted field in the grid.
    Note: The expected quantity is displayed only if Show Expected in Product Warehouse Description Setup-Count is selected.
  4. Specify bin information, or serial or lot numbers.

    To specify a bin location, specify the number exactly as it is shown on the Product Warehouse Product Setup record. For example, if a bin location is --/--/001/---, specify 001 in the third column and leave the other columns blank.

  5. Optionally, add a product to the count.
    1. Click Add Product To Count.
    2. Specify the ticket number, the product, bin location, and expected quantity.
    3. If the product is unavailable inventory, select the Unavailable option.
      Note: This option is only available for physical counts when the product is not set up as a warehouse manager product in Product Warehouse Product Setup.
    4. Click Save.
  6. When you are finished entering counts, close the window.
