Picking and shipping orders for a sales warehouse

Use these instructions to pick an order in your central distribution center warehouse and ship it to the sales warehouse. If you are using TWL to manage your CDC center or sales warehouse, also refer to the Infor Distribution SX.e Total Warehouse Logistics User Guide for Picking, Packing, and Shipping.

Note: You must implement the Sales Warehouse and Central Distribution Center features in Distribution SX.e before you can process CDC orders.
  1. Run Sales Entry Pick Ticket Print Report to print the pick ticket.
  2. Note the indicator on the pick ticket indicating the sales warehouse. Pick the order and stage it in an area that is defined for shipments to this sales warehouse.
  3. Run Sales Shipping Feedback Entry.
    You can run the report for a specific central distribution center and for CDC orders that have a CDC Status of Assigned. You can also see the CDC Status of each order in the grid if the field is added using Personalization. The CDC indicator is printed on the shipping label.
  4. View the status of the CDC order in Sales Order Inquiry-Warehouse Logistics.
    The CDC Status of the order is updated to Transfer Route. The order status is Shipped, however, it cannot be invoiced until the sales warehouse ships it to the customer.
