Adding late charges to a closed Value Add order

Use VA Late Charge Entry to enter late charges incurred against a closed VA order. Once added, the charges are shown in the grid, and can be viewed in VA Order Inquiry. You can also see them on the VA Master List Report.

You must have security to access the VA Late Charge Entry function.

  1. Select Value Add > Entry > Late Charge.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify the VA order number, date, and charge amount.
  4. Optionally, specify the number of the AP journal that was created when the VA order charges were paid.
  5. Click Save.
