Options

(A)uthorization or (I)nvoicing Run (A, I)

Specify Authorization to run credit card authorizations automatically throughout the day. You must set up a scheduled report for this mode. Use Authorization Run mode when running throughout the day to pick up any off-line credit card requests and authorize the credit card payment transactions. The authorization run mode only performs an authorization.

Specify Invoicing Run to process sale (sale), fsal (force sale), and retn (return) transactions and to settle authorized payment transactions. Use Invoicing Run mode when running nightly after invoice processing to pick up the transactions that were created by invoice processing.

Do not run this report in Invoicing Run mode until after the nightly invoicing. This will reset the batch number in the processing if settlement is performed. The banks performing settlements depend on this number to match the number they are expecting for the day.

Note: If there are no active FSAL-BTCH transactions to pick up for the day, Customer Credit Card Manager will not continue with the settlement. If FSAL transactions were picked up by Customer Credit Card Manager in A mode earlier in the day, they must be settled manually.
Batch Run (Y/N)

Select Yes to run the report throughout the day in batch mode. Define the other options to set up when the report will automatically run.

At the end of the day, after invoicing, run this report in Invoicing Run (I) mode to send a command that will transfer money from the cardholder’s account to your company’s bank account. Invoicing run mode processes returns, sale transactions, and forced sale transactions. When the report is run in invoice mode, you have the option to update or not update, enabling you to review the transactions before settlement.

Interval Time for Next Report (In Min)

Specify the number of minutes between the runs after you have decided how often you want the report to run.

End of Day Processing (HHMM Military)

Specify the next time that you want the Customer Credit Card Manager function to check for new authorizations and when you will stop sending the authorizations for the day; specify in military time format. If you have a value in the Interval Time for Next Report option, and this option, these will be used primarily for the Authorization Run of the Customer Credit Card Manager. Do not run the Invoicing Run until after this time.

For example, if you specify 5 in the Interval Time for Next Report option and 1500 in the End of Day Processing option, and your report starts at 8:00, Customer Credit Card Manager will run every 5 minutes from 800 to 1500 and stop sending authorizations at the time.

Company (or Blank for All)

Specify a company number to run the report for one company.

Leave the field blank to run the report for all companies.

Processor (or Blank for All)

Specify the processor number assigned to the credit card processor; as set up in SA Credit Card Processors Setup.

Leave blank to process all processors.

Update Through Processor? (Inv Only)

This option is applicable when you perform an invoicing run; select I for option 1, Authorization or Invoicing Run. If you select Yes, the report runs in update mode and submits data to the selected processor; or all processors if the Processor option is 0. This provides a settlement report of sale, forced sale, and return credit card transactions and writes to the flat files that are submitted to your credit card processor(s).

If you select No to run the report in non-update mode, no data will be submitted to your credit card processor(s). This option enables you to review the data before it is sent to the processor.

Print S)ummary, D)etail or N)either

This option is applicable when you select the invoicing run; select I for option 1, Authorization or Invoicing Run. Select Summary to print only the totals for each processor. Select Detail to print each transaction, with totals for each processor. Data will be sorted depending upon the sort order selected in the Sort By option.

Note:  If you select No to Update Through Processor? (Inv Only) and Neither for the Print option, no data will be sent to the credit card processor, and no report prints.
Sort By W)hse, D)iv, M)erch or P)rocessor

This option is applicable when you perform an invoicing run; select i for option 1, Authorization or Invoicing Run. The option determines the order in which the processed data will display. Selections sort by warehouse, division, merchant ID, or credit card processor.
