If you are using ION Messaging Service (IMS) to connect to ION to send and receive BODs, use SA ION Inbox/Outbox Inquiry to view the status of BODs.

Note: This button is not available if you run Distribution SX.e in the cloud. ION Messaging Service (IMS) is used to connect to ION and transmit BODs.

Extra Fields

You can specify extra fields within each table level for the User Area portion of each outbound BOD supported for Distribution SX.e.

See the Infor Distribution SX.e Configuration Guide for Infor Operating Service or the Infor CloudSuite Distribution Configuration Guide for the list of extra fields available for BODs.

Level 1 Enable

To include non-standard, custom fields in the BOD, select the appropriate value in the Level 1 Enable field, and then specify the fields in the Level 1 Fields section.

You can select these values in the Level 1 Enable field:

  • Disable - Level 1 Extra Fields Disabled

Select this value to publish only the standard BOD data fields to ION. The Level 1 Fields list is ignored. If extra fields are not available for the selected BOD in Level 1, this option cannot be changed.

  • Everything - Send All Level 1 Fields in Database and Custom Fields in Level 1 List

Select this value for Level 1 if available for the selected BOD to publish all data fields in the database for the appropriate level of the BOD. You must specify any non-standard custom fields in the Level 1 Fields section that do not exist in the Infor BOD and that are excluded from the Everything value. This adds custom fields that are not part of the standard Extra Fields set, such as xx or zz fields. This also adds the user fields outside of the User1-9 fields that are part of the standard BOD data for Level 1 header tables.

  • List Only - Send Only Level 1 Fields in Level 1 List

Select this value for Level 1 if available for the selected BOD to publish all of the standard BOD data fields to ION, plus any additional fields specified in the Level 1 Fields section.

Level 2 Enable

If you have any non-standard, custom fields that should be included in the BOD, select the appropriate value in the Level 2 Enable field, and then specify the fields in the Level 2 Fields section.

You can select these values in the Level 2 Enable field:

  • Disable - Level 2 Extra Fields Disabled

Select this value to publish only the standard BOD data fields to ION and the Level 2 Fields list is ignored. If extra fields are not available for the selected BOD in Level 2, this value cannot be changed.

  • Everything - Send All Level 2 Fields in Database and Custom Fields in Level 1 List

Select this value for Level 2 if available for the selected BOD to publish all data fields in the database for the appropriate level of the BOD. You must specify any non-standard custom fields in the Level 2 Fields section that do not exist in the Infor BOD and that are excluded from the Everything value. This adds custom fields that are not part of the standard Extra Fields set, such as xx or zz fields. This also adds the user fields outside of the User1-9 fields that are part of the standard BOD data for Level 2 line records.

  • List Only - Send Only Level 2 Fields in Level 1 List

Select this value for Level 2 if available for the selected BOD to publish all of the standard BOD data fields to ION, plus any additional fields specified in the Level 2 Fields list.
