SA Administrator Options - Logistics - WL Locations field descriptions

General

Description

Specify a description the name of the warehouse logistics location. You can set up individual locations for individual warehouses, or multiple warehouses per location. The description should clearly identify the warehouses associated with the location.

ION WL Implementation

Select this option if the WL Location you are setting up is for an Infor WMS integration.

WL Locations

Specify the name of your integrated warehouse logistics location. This location is used if you use a warehouse logistics application. TWL and Infor WMS are examples of warehouse logistics applications. This location should not be the same as an existing Product Warehouse Description Setup record, but is specified in Product Warehouse Description Setup when you set up a warehouse as a TWL- or WMS-managed location and select the WL Live option.

If this is a warehouse logistics location that is WMS-enabled, you must also select the ION WL Implementation option.

Script Parameters

Background Log Directory

Specify the location of the individual log files created for data sent and received by the WL location. Add a forward slash (/) to the end of the directory path.

Data Transmission Pause

This option enables you to pause transmissions per company before the next transactions are processed. Specify the number of minutes you want the interface programs to pause between company transmissions. The minimum pause is one minute. Transaction data is read by company, by warehouse, by data transaction.

Data Transmission Start Time

This field accepts military time formats and indicates when the interface programs should start accepting transaction files. Specifying start and stop times prevents the interface programs from continually reading the database during non-active hours. This ensures that all the nightly audits and reports are run efficiently.

To continually download transmissions, leave the default 00:00. Otherwise, specify the military time equivalent for starting the download script.

Stop Time

This field accepts military time formats and indicates when the interface programs should stop accepting transaction files. Specifying start and stop times is beneficial so the interface programs are not continually reading the database during non-active hours. This ensures all the nightly audits and reports are run efficiently.

To continually download transmissions, leave the default 00:00. Otherwise, specify the military time equivalent for stopping the download script.
