VA Order Version Update Entry overview
Function acronym: VAEU
Use this function to update VA orders that use a previous product setup version to the latest version. Update existing orders after you define a new version of the product setup. If work has begun on a section, it must retain its initial version.
On this page you can perform these actions:
- Search for active VA orders with open processing sections and an earlier version number.
- Select records to update from the list of open sections eligible
for a version update.
If the tolerance value specified in SA Administrator Options is greater than zero, the tolerance between the current and previous is checked before a section is updated. If the difference between the two version exceeds the tolerance (as a positive value, a negative value, or a percentage), a warning message appears. When you update a section, the order’s current processing section based on the earlier product setup version is deleted and a new section is added based on the latest version. The inventory and the VA header, totals, and the setup version number on the order are all updated.
