SA Open Journal Assignment Report overview

Use this report to identify open journals.
A journal might be open if an operator did not close it correctly or if a system failure occurred. When the report identifies an open journal within the specified report criteria, the event manager can notify each operator of the open journal. Trigger the notification by selecting Yes in the report's Create Events? option.
Note: Batch journals, which are intended to remain open for an
extended period of time, are excluded from triggering the sa-jrnlopen
event to notify operators. Batch journals are displayed in the new SA Open Journal
Assignment Report.
