RS Queue Defaults Master List Report overview

Report Scheduler > Reports > RS Reports > RSRD

Function acronym: RSRD

Use this report to print a list of report procedures and their corresponding default queues. You assign default queues to reports in RS Administrator Default Queues.

Report queues are sequences of scheduled jobs or job groups, each with an assigned date and time to be executed. Each queue has a name, a description, an execution date and time, and an execution priority number. When a queue reaches its scheduled data and time, it becomes active and the jobs and job groups residing within begin to run based on their position and priority assignments. When a queue becomes inactive, the jobs residing within are not available for processing.

Queues are used by Report Scheduler to logically organize print jobs into manageable job chunks. They also control the printing of jobs beyond the reach of the day-to-day operator.

Any report or group of reports can be assigned to a default queue. Reports assigned to a queue print only when their default queue is active.
