Purchase Demand Center Entry - Line Items - Add New Line/Edit Details overview

Purchase > Entry > Demand Center

Use this page to specify a line item's details when adding or maintaining a line item on the report.

The Add New Line or Edit Details page can be accessed from the Purchase Demand Center Entry-Line Items view:

  • When you click New to add a line to a report.
  • When you select a line item and click Edit.
  • When you click the Surplus link on a line that has short-term surplus.

Use the Edit Details page to edit a line on the report, or view additional information related to that product. If surplus is available, the quantity available in each warehouse is displayed in the Surplus grid. Short- and long-term surplus is displayed. You can elect to transfer the product from a warehouse holding surplus instead of ordering from the vendor.

Note: The Long Term Type and Long Terms Months can also be viewed in the grid, but these columns are hidden by default. Use the Personalization feature to display them at the user, profile, or company level.

To view or maintain usage history, click on the usage value for a line in the grid. This displays the Usage Information window.
