Sales Order Entry - Advanced Line Entry - Cut Containers overview

Cut containers are set up in Product Setup-Cut when you select NoCut as the Cut Type. You associate cut containers with linear cut products in Product Extended Product Cut Container Setup.

Containers are displayed in the order you defined them in Product Extended Product Cut Container Setup. A single container is designated by a green check mark as the suggested container for the product based on the container's calculated capacity and the quantity entered on the order line. Containers that have the capacity are noted with an "i" indicator. You can select the preferred container to add it to the order or choose another container from the list.

Click Show All Containers Regardless of Capacity to view all of the containers associated with the linear cut product, even if they do not have the capacity for the quantity ordered.
