Product Customer Reservation/Forecast Setup overview

Use this function to create, edit, and delete customer reservations and customer forecasts.
You can perform these actions:
- Reserve product quantities for a specific customer or ship to and warehouse
- Maintain product forecasts for customers, ship to addresses, or ship to groups
Customer forecasts are distinct from customer reservations. A customer reservation represents a commitment to always keep a certain quantity of a product on hand for a specific customer. A customer forecast represents a calculated prediction of inventory needs that allows inventory purchases to anticipate and prepare for customer demand. Unlike customer reservations which can be created for a customers and a ship to address, forecasts can also be created for a ship to group.
