Product Bin Maintenance Entry overview
Function acronym: ICEB
Use this function to add and maintain the bin locations for products.
On this page you can perform these actions:
- Change or specify bin location number 1 and 2 directly in the grid.
- Change bin locations from one bin to another for multiple products simultaneously.
- Create additional bin locations if you require more than two bins per product.
- View current and future product availability.
- Specify the warehouse to search for products. Additionally, you can search by product, a product range, a bin location range, and the product status.
To mass update the bin locations for multiple products, select the records and click .
Note: To update and move bin locations in mass, your
function security must be between level 3 and 5 in SA Operator
Setup.
To create additional bin locations, click . The bin locations that you maintain in Product Bin Maintenance Entry updates the bin location information found in these functions:
- Product Warehouse Product Setup
- Product Additional Bin Location Setup
The bin location is usually set up as building/row/section/shelf. You can use both alpha and numeric characters.
