The usage control method that is assigned to a product can have a profound effect on the usage rate calculation for that product. The usage rate is an important component of ordering control for forecasting. This report can use these forecasting methods to calculate the suggested order quantity each month:

The usage rate for regular products can be calculated differently than the usage rate for seasonal products. The usage months and method for a warehouse product are used to calculate usage rates, based on the usage information for the warehouse product. Additionally, a trend percentage can be applied to a warehouse product depending on the usage method for the warehouse product.
