If Track Balancing History is selected in SA Administrator Options-Financials-Period Structure, use this page to see the history that is created when balancing reports are run.

Balancing history is displayed for a specific account code. You can limit transactions to a specific transaction type, date and period history. Transactions are displayed in date order, starting with the most current transactions.

When you process any of the trial balance reports, an internal General Ledger balancing record is created. It contains the account number, date, time, current General Ledger balance, subsidiary balance, difference and variance. The information for these General Ledger balancing records are displayed in the Balance History grid. The amounts in the Difference column are the differences between the General Ledger total and the subsidiary total. The Variance is the running total of the difference between the General Ledger total and the subsidiary total.
