SA Administrator Options - Products - Product Restrictions overview
Use this page to enable or disable the product restriction types, customer-level product restriction types, and product shipping restriction types. You can also override the default hierarchy that determines the order in which products are validated against the product restriction records.
The options on this page are used to determine what types of restrictions records are created in Product Restriction Setup and Product Shipping Restriction Setup.
If you disable all of the product restriction types, you cannot create a new record in Product Restriction Setup. If you disable product restriction type, you cannot include it in the override hierarchy. An override hierarchy is in effect as soon as you save the changes.
To use the product shipping restriction functionality, you must enable product shipping restriction types and create product shipping restriction records to validate Ship Via selections on sales orders and warehouse transfers.
