Division security by function
You can limit users’ access to only data within select divisions. You can specify a list
of allowed divisions in SA Operator Setup-Other Options. You can also
allow a user to maintain customer or vendor records that are restricted from editing. The
allowed division controls that limit the data that can be viewed by a user are applied
throughout Distribution SX.e.
Divisions are set up for each company in SA Table Code Value Setup-Division. To assign divisions to each operator, select the Allowed checkbox in the Allowed Division Numbers grid in SA Operator Setup-Other Options. In the Security Settings section, specify Yes for the modules to limit the user’s access to that module’s data within the allowed divisions only.
