Editing an existing product pricing set in a spreadsheet

Use these instructions to export selected rows from PD Mass Maintenance Entry to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. You can edit the spreadsheet and then import it back into PD Mass Maintenance Entry to update the records.

Note: If a vendor number is not included on the spreadsheet or it is invalid, the vendor number you specify during set creation is used. You can load the vendor numbers from the spreadsheet so you can create multiple vendor rebate sets.
  1. Select Pricing and Discounting > Entry > Mass Maintenance.
  2. Specify the set name, and then click Continue.
  3. Select the records to export.
  4. Select Column Actions > Export to Excel.
  5. Specify a file name.
  6. Move fields from the Possible Fields list to the Chosen Fields list in the order you want them to display in the spreadsheet. The fields in the Chosen Fields list are exported.
  7. Click Export to Excel.
  8. Open and edit the CSV file. Ensure that you maintain the correct data format.
  9. After you have verified the information on the spreadsheet, change the value in the Update column to Yes, and then save the file.
    You can open the CSV file in Microsoft Excel and save it as XLS or XLSX if those file types are required.
  10. Select Column Actions > Import from Excel.
  11. Specify the spreadsheet file, and then click Open.
  12. Click OK.

    If the import fails, the errors are displayed in a message window. Correct the errors in the spreadsheet and repeat the import procedure.
