Adding a new product record
When you add a product to your inventory, you must create two types of product records. You must first create a record in Product Setup. The information in this record pertains to all your warehouses. You must also create a record in Product Warehouse Product Setup for each warehouse that will stock the product.
Note:  If you create a new
               Product Warehouse Product Setup record where no
               Product Setup record exists, but a Product Catalog
               Setup record does exist, you can use certain default values from the
            catalog record to automatically "move" the catalog product into the warehouse's
            inventory. The ability create a warehouse product this way is secured by the security
            option Catalog Stocking in IC
            in SA Operator Setup-Entry Options. If this field
            is set to Allow, you can create a
               Product Setup and Product Warehouse Product
               Setup record.
