Defining an ECCN code

Use these instructions to define Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) codes. You can then assign ECCN codes to your product records.

  1. Select System Administrator > Setup > Table Code Value.
  2. In the Table List field, select ECCN Classification.
  3. Click New.
  4. Specify a valid ECCN code, up to 15 characters, for your organization.
  5. Specify the description, up to 24-characters, for the ECCN code.
  6. Save the code.
  7. Repeat steps until you have entered all of the ECCN codes you anticipate using.
