Distribution Storeroom

Use Distribution Storeroom to manage your customers’ indirect material and machine supplies by monitoring dedicated warehouse space in their facility or your facility.

Storeroom-managed warehouses can be set up for tool cribs, industrial vending machines, maintenance repairs, and operations inventory.

Storeroom includes functions that control setups, issues and returns, inventory movement, cycle counting, receiving, and tool repair, and lot and serial processing. You can record inventory adjustments, move inventory to and from unavailable quantities, and transfer products between warehouses. You can track inventory within a managed warehouse by bin locations, serial numbers, and lot numbers. You can also set up and track employees, departments, machines, GL numbers that are specific to Storeroom.

ION API-based integrations between Storeroom and third-party vending machine applications are supported. Data from the vending machines is validated against fields in the Storeroom database to automatically create issues. If data cannot be validated, then you can correct and submit the issues using the Storeroom import function.

Storeroom also offers a web-based, mobile application that supports the issue, return, receipt, transfer, and counting of products in managed warehouses on Apple iOS and Android mobile devices. Your customers can use Storeroom Mobile in the online or offline mode. Storeroom Mobile synchronizes with the Storeroom application when both are online.
