Inactivating a customer master group

You can inactivate a group temporarily, for example, when you evaluate the validity of the group and its members. When a group is inactive, the group settings do not affect the customers that are assigned to the group.

  1. Select Customer > Setup > Master Group.
  2. Open the group record, and then click Edit.
  3. In the General view, clear Active check box.
  4. Click Save.
