Setting up vendor ship froms for Supplier Access

If you associate a vendor ship from with a location ID, a supplier can send a response to a product availability request from more than one location.

Note:  To implement Supplier Access with a vendor, the vendor must supply a list of location codes from which they allow direct shipments.

When the supplier access data is returned, the response contains a Vendor Location ID, which is used to locate a ship from record. If one of these conditions are met, then the response results only show the main vendor number without a ship from number.

  • The response does not contain a Vendor Location ID.
  • A ship from record cannot be located.
  1. Select Vendor > Setup > Ship From.
  2. Search for the record, and then open it.
  3. Click eCommerce.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. In the Supplier Access section, specify the Vendor Location ID.
  6. Click Save.
