Shipped stage

When a sales order is moved to Shipped (stage 3) stage, you cannot maintain the lines in Sales Shipping Feedback Entry. Neither can you access the order in Sales Order Entry. You can access the header in Sales Shipping Feedback Entry.

To change an order that is in the shipped stage, unship the order to move it back to the picked (stage 2) stage. The lines can then be maintained in Sales Order Entry or Sales Shipping Feedback Entry. If you change the quantity shipped to zero on all lines, the stage is changed to Ordered (stage 1) stage.

When you access an order in Ordered stage in Sales Shipping Feedback Entry, the reserved quantity in Product Maintain Balances Entry is decreased and the committed quantity is increased. This occurs because the order’s pick ticket was never printed to commit the Product Maintain Balances Entry quantities.

If the order is in Picked (stage 2) stage or Shipped stage, the committed balance is affected if the quantity shipped is increased or decreased in Sales Shipping Feedback Entry. Quantities that are committed have already been picked from the warehouse and could have been shipped.

If the shipped quantities are changed on an order with an existing back order in Ordered stage, and nothing can be shipped, the back order is deleted. It is not necessary to maintain it.
