TWL Execution - Cycle Count Setup overview

TWL > Execution > Cycle Count Setup

Function acronym: TWLECS

Cycle count parameters are defined in TWL Execution - Cycle Count Setup. As you count inventory, review any errors and update your cycle count parameters as needed.

Cycle counting is designed to improve your inventory counts and is performed daily on a small portion of the warehouse to ensure the information being collected in the database is accurate. The goal of cycle counting is to keep the net available for sale as accurate as possible. Errors in the system should be removed at the same rate they are being generated.

There are three cycle count types in TWL Execution - Cycle Count Setup:

  • ABC Rotation

Use to configure counts on ABC Classification. Specify the number of days in A, B, C, and D.

  • Maximum Daily Item Counts

Use to specify the maximum number of items to count for each product class.

  • Maximum Daily Inventory Counts

Use to specify the number of counts for each product class.
