SA All Company Information Setup overview

Function acronym: SASA

Use this page to set up information that applies to all of your companies within the database.

You cannot enter additional system modules until this record, and the SA Company Setup record, are set up. The company record contains information specific to one company. Infor provides one security number for all companies.

Because the All Company Record affects the entire system, only the system administrator should have access to this function.

Prerequisites

Setups functions are initially used to populate the database with static information, which is information that does not change frequently. Later, the setups functions are used to maintain or delete that information as it does change. Reports that list the information that are contained in the database are printed through report functions. As you enter information during the setup process, you should print it so you can verify its accuracy.

Operator security settings that are set up in SA Operator Setup, determine if an operator can inquire, add, change, and delete within each permitted function. Before you proceed with System Administrator setups, ensure that your operator record contains the correct security settings.

Because of the many inter-dependencies throughout the system, the initial setup procedures must be done in a specific order.
