RS Activity Administration overview

Report Scheduler > Administration > Activity

Function acronym: RSAA

Use this function to view and maintain activity for standard Report Scheduler batch processing and one-time job processing.

You also use this function to view activity for these jobs:

  • Backlogged reports and print jobs
  • On-demand print jobs, such as jobs that are processed from entry functions

Search

Use the Search function to limit the jobs that display in the Administration Activities grid.

The criteria that you select only applies to standard Report Scheduler batch jobs and one-time report processing. When you access the Search function, the system checks your operator record to verify if you are an administrator. Yes must be selected in the Give System Admin Status to This User field in SA Operator Setup-Other Options. If you are not an administrator, your current company and user initials are displayed in the Company # and Operator fields, but you can change them.

This action works for both CloudSuite Distribution and on-premises Distribution SX.e. The operator requesting the log file must have a valid email address specified in SA Operator Setup-Static Information. Otherwise, an error is displayed: E-Mail Invalid - No E-Mail Address Defined (6772). Optionally, you can set up a specific queue in RS Queue Setup, or use the default.

The option, Log Ranges/Options, can be cleared or selected. The setting does not affect the send action.
