Sales Linear Cut Maintenance Entry - Cut - Apply Cuts overview

When a cut piece is selected, you can access these options:

Use Existing Cut

Select a cut piece from the grid and click Use Existing Cut to assign it to fill the order line. Use this option if the existing cut piece does not need to be cut to fill the line or component.

Cut And Apply

Select a cut piece from the grid and click Cut And Apply to specify the new cut details. A new record is created and assigned to fill the order line, and the quantity shipped or quantity available associated with the product or build-on-demand kit component on the line. The line can now be picked, and the lot quantities are updated in inventory.
