Product Catalog Setup - General overview

Product > Setup > Catalog

Use this tab to set up and maintain catalog records. The catalog record contains the static information relevant to the product itself.

Use this information later when you convert a catalog product to a regular stocked product. These records are checked when you are setting up stocked products that were previously catalog products. When you set up a product that is the same as a catalog product, you can confirm the catalog item. The information in Product Catalog Setup defaults into Product Setup.

You can also specify internal and external web page addresses for the product. When you are in Product Inquiry, you can access the web pages entered here.
