CR Reconciliation Center Entry overview

Check Reconciliation > Entry > Reconciliation Center

Function acronym: CRER

Use this function to reconcile bank statements only if your bank offers a program to download importable digital bank statements.

The CR Reconciliation Center Entry function is the hub of the CR Reconciliation Center functionality. From this function, you can import your bank's statement as a spreadsheet. You can apply matching rules to automate part of the reconciliation process. You can also resolve unmatched items to complete the reconciliation process.

If you click Search, all current bank reconciliation records are displayed in the grid. Bank reconciliation records are bank statements you have imported from that bank. You can also conduct a search for bank statements for a specific bank number.

From the toolbar, you can access these actions:

  • Import From Excel
  • Delete
  • Reset
  • Void Checks
  • Rule Matching

From the Bank Reconciliations grid, when you drill down into a bank reconciliation record, you can view the Reconciliation Detail page. This page shows specific information from the bank statement, including bank transaction records.

When you drill down into a bank transaction record, you can view the Matching Detail page. From this page, you can access the Matched Transactions tab, the Transactions Not Cleared tab, and the Manual page.
