Use this page to indicate the types of alternate products that can be set up and to define sections of Universal Product Codes (UPC).

Alternate products

Use the fields in the Alternates section to indicate the types of alternate products you are allowed to set up during Product Extended Product Cross Reference Setup. The number of cross reference product types that you select on this page has an effect on performance in Sales Order Entry. The more you select, the slower line item entry is in Sales Order Entry. Select only those cross reference types that you intend to use.

Universal Product Code (UPC)

UPCs uniquely identify products in your inventory. Use this page to define the structure of your UPC numbers. You can specify the size and label of each UPC section. Optionally, you can specify a delimiter to separate the sections of the UPC.
