Setting up Delivery Document printing

Configure the Delivery Document in SA Administrator Options. Next, in Customer Setup, set up customers and assign a Delivery Document print price type. Then, assign a Delivery Document printer to warehouses in Product Warehouse Description Setup. Optionally, you can set up an event in SA Event Manager Activate Entry that notifies you if a Delivery Document is being reprinted.

  1. Select System Administrator > Administration > Administrator Options > Documents > Sales Orders > Printing.
  2. In the Formats section, select the appropriate Print Format. Optionally, select the Headings option.
  3. In the Options section, select a sort order in the Delivery field.

    The Bin Location #1 field on the Product Warehouse Product Setup record is used to determine print order.

  4. Click Save.
  5. Select Customer > Setup > Customer .
  6. Open a customer record, and then click Edit.
  7. Click Ordering.
  8. In the Pricing section, select a Delivery Print Price option. Select one of these values
    • Do Not Print Price: Select this default value if you do not want the price printed on the Delivery Document.
    • Print Price: Select this value to print the product price on the document.
    • Print Price W/O Discount: Select this value to print the product price without the discount.
    • Require OE Entry: Select this value to require customer service representatives (CSRs) to specify the price to be printed on the document. CSRs specify the price in the Delivery Print Price field in Sales Order Entry-Select Products-Customer Order Settings.
      Note: Delivery Print Price is an optional field in Distribution SX.e. To ensure this field is displayed, add the field using the Personalization options in Sales Order Entry. If you require CSRs to specify the price, but do not ensure this field displays, CSRs receive an error and cannot complete customer order settings.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Select Product > Setup > Warehouse Description.
  11. Open the warehouse record, and then click Edit.
  12. Click Other.
  13. In the Printers section, specify a printer in the Delivery field.
  14. Click Save.
  15. Optionally, select System Administrator > Event Manager > Activate .
  16. Specify oe-reprintdlvtck in the Event Name field, and then click Search.
  17. In the grid, click the Drill Down icon for the event.
  18. Click Action, and then select the action.
  19. Click New.
  20. Specify information on the Range Filters, Additional Filters, and General Information tabs.
  21. Click Save, and return to the Activate Events Maintenance window.
  22. Select the action, and then click Set Active Flag Yes.
  23. Click Save.
