Setting up National Program kits

In KP Components Setup, you can designate that component can qualify for a National Program.

You are required to set up the kit product as a stock product in Product Setup and Product Warehouse Product Setupbefore you can set up the kit in KP Components Setup. A prebuilt kit is assembled from a work order and is placed in inventory to be sold at a later date. A build-on-demand (BOD) kit is not assembled until it is ordered by a customer, and the pick ticket, which contains the components, is printed.

  1. Select Kit Production > Setup > Component.
  2. Click New.
  3. In General, specify the required information.
  4. Select the National Program option if this component of the kit qualifies for a National Program.
  5. Click Save to add the component to the kit.
