Inventory Control Manager widgets

Inventory Control Manager homepage widgets provide relevant Distribution SX.e information to executives and other users that require high-level company information. You are not required to configure any widgets on the Executive homepage.

These widgets are included on the Inventory Control Manager Homepage:

  • Inventory Control Manager Banner

    Includes these individual widgets:

    • Inventory by Year/Month

      Shows the average inventory value, cost of goods sold, and inventory turns by year and month

    • Top 10 Warehouses by Average Inventory

      Shows the top 10 warehouse with the highest inventory values.

  • Inventory Efficiency Ratio

    Shows the inventory efficiency ratio of the company by year and month, using these factors:

    • Gross margin return on inventory investment (GMROI)

    • Inventory to sales ratio

    • Day sales inventory
  • New Product Onboarding

    Creates a task to create a Product Warehouse Product Setup record after a new product record is created in Product Setup. After the warehouse product record is created, you can use the widget to set the status of the Product Setup record to active.

  • Top 10 Warehouses by Short Term Surplus

    Shows the top 10 warehouses with the greatest amount of short term surplus

  • Top 10 Warehouses by Long Term Surplus

    Shows the top 10 warehouses with the greatest amount of long term surplus

  • Product Availability

    Shows the products that are available in the company. Click a product to open a window to select a warehouse. The current and future availability of the product is then displayed. Click the product number link to open the corresponding record in Product Availability Inquiry.

    If you can sign in to multiple companies or have multiple user IDs for a company, then you must configure this widget. Click ... > Configure and then select a value in the Company/User ID field to indicate the company from which to retrieve the information.

  • Top 10 Inventory Adjustments by Warehouses

    Shows the top 10 inventory adjustments that were made in Product Quantity Adjustment Entry, based the adjustment value.

  • Inventory Stock Out

    Shows an alert when a sales order line for a stock product results in an inventory stock out. An alert occurs when the shipped quantity is less than the ordered quantity, and a back order is created. Alerts are not displayed for special or nonstock products.
