Using a One Time Sale to receive on account
You can receive money on a customer account (ROA) in Sales Order Entry for a One Time Sale, also known as instant payment. An instant payment is a tokenless credit card transaction.
- Select Sales > Entry > Order.
 - From More, select Receive on Account.
 - Specify the Customer, Warehouse, and Taken By.
 - In the Amount field, specify the amount of the payment.
 - 
            Click One Time
                  Sale. 
            You are connected to the credit card processor's One Time Sale form.
 - Click OK to open a journal.
 - 
            Complete all required fields:
            
- Card Number
 - Specify the credit card number. You can manually specify the number or, if you have a scanner device, you can swipe the card. The data stored on the magnetic stripe is used automatically populate the Card Number, Expiration, CVC, and Cardholder Name fields.
 
- Expiration
 - Select the month and year noted on the credit card.
 
- Cardholder Name
 - Specify the name of the person authorized to use this credit card.
 
- Last four digits
 - Specify the last four digits of the credit card number. This field is available when you swipe a card using a scanner device, and provides verification that the credit card is present during the setup or tendering process.
 - CVC
 - Specify the CVC code.
 - Zip Code
 - Specify the Zip code associated with the card.
 
- Specify the email address of the cardholder.
 
 - Click Submit.
 - 
            In the transaction receipt, click either of these options:
            
- Done, if you do not want to print a receipt, or
 - Print, to print a receipt.
 
An approval message is displayed: Card Approved ************<last four digits>.A payment message is displayed: Payment Posted, Order # 0000000 Has Been Created.
