Role-based homepages
Security roles in Infor Ming.le determine which role-based homepages you can access. Because each Distribution SX.e homepage includes Birst widgets, the SXBirst-User role and an SX-BIRST role that is specific to the homepage must also be assigned to your user record. This table shows the roles that are required for the available homepages:

Role-based homepages can include these types of widgets:
- Birst
The Birst widgets on a homepage correspond to a CloudSuite Distribution Analytics dashboard collection. Each Birst widget represents a Birst Visualizer report that is created in CloudSuite Distribution Analytics. You can click to open the report in Birst Visualizer.

- Distribution SX.e widget
Use the widgets to access data from Distribution SX.e without opening the application. If you can sign in to more than one company or have more than one user ID for a company, you must configure the lookup widgets to specify the company from which to retrieve the information.
The Distribution SX.e widgets are also available in the Widget Catalog.
- ION widget
Shows alerts that are set up by your system administrator in ION Desk. You can use the widgets to assign tasks and alerts to yourself or others, share the task or alert, attach files, and keep notes. You can configure the ION widgets to filter the results that are displayed. You can change settings such as Order By, Due Date, Assigned Status, Date Created, and Items Load Order.
- Menu widget
Provides links to functions in Distribution SX.e. You can configure the widget to include additional links.
