Entering a total catch weight during shipping

You can require an actual catch weight at the line level when the product is shipped to your customer. If catch weight functionality is activated and set up for sales orders, a value must be specified in the Actual Total Weight field. Otherwise this message is displayed: Actual Weight Must be Entered for All Catch Weight Lines (7193). You cannot continue with shipping this order until this value is specified.

  1. Select Sales > Entry > Shipping Feedback.
  2. Specify search criteria, and then click Search.

    The Stage for this order must Ordered or Printed.

  3. In the grid, drill down on the order.
  4. Select the Line Items tab.
  5. Scroll to the Quantity Ship column. Specify the quantity being shipped.
  6. In the Actual Total Weight column, specify the weight. The value is enterable.
    Note: If the weight specified is outside of tolerances, this message is displayed: Warning: Catch Weight Tolerance Has Been Exceeded (8805).
  7. Exit the tab.
  8. Click Ship/Unship.
  9. Specify print options, and then click OK.
