SA Tax Table Setup field descriptions

The values for these fields must exist in the tax master record before you can use them here. Tax master records are created in SA Sales Use Tax Setup, SA Goods and Services Tax Setup, or SA Value Added Tax Setup.

City

The city jurisdiction that applies to this postal code. The city must exist for the state and county in the tax master record.

County

The county jurisdiction that applies to this postal code. The county must exist for the state abbreviation in the tax master record.

Other 1 and 2

The Other1 jurisdiction that applies to this postal code. The Other1 jurisdiction must exist for the state, county, and city in the tax master record.

Taxing State

The state associated with this postal code. The state abbreviation must exist in the tax master record.

Warehouse

The warehouse that usually supplies customers in this postal code. This warehouse is automatically displayed in the default warehouse in Customer Setup or Customer Ship To Setup records when you enter the postal code.

Zip Code

Required field. The appropriate postal code. This default value is cross-referenced by the system when you create a new customer or shipto record, or modify the postal code of an existing record. When you specify a postal code in a customer or shipto record, this default value auto-populates or overwrites the fields in the Ordering and Taxing views with the appropriate taxing state, locality, and warehouse.
