Reconciling WM records

If transaction processing is interrupted, you can reconcile and update WM Bin Location and Product Setup records with WM transaction record data, which is considered to be correct.

Run the WM Audit Report to update the Bin Location #1 in Product Warehouse Product Setup with the single or primary bin location, and the WM Bin Location and Product Setup records. If Delete Transactions When Complete in SA Administrator Options-Products-Warehouse Manager is selected, then WM transaction records at Stage 4 (Finished) are purged.

The WM Audit Report removes records that meet these conditions:

  • Open, Staging, or Unavailable bins with attached product records having a zero quantity
  • No active WM transaction records at Stage 1 (Entered)
  • No active count in progress
  1. Select Warehouse Manager > Reports > WM Reports > Audit Report.
  2. Specify the report ranges to limit the audit report to specific products or classes. If you use the product class range, run Product Administration Inventory Classification and Rank Report before the audit report to ensure that you use the most current information.
  3. Specify the report options. To update the WM Bin Location and Product Setup records with the WM transaction record data, select Yes for the Update Bin Quantities? option. The Received and Committed balances are updated if there is a discrepancy.
  4. Run the report.
