Entering a superseded product on a transfer

If these conditions are met, the supersede product automatically replaces the superseded product in the Product field:

  • The superseded product is not in stock.
  • Only one supersede record is set up for the product in Product Extended Product Cross Reference Setup.

If the product has multiple supersede records, you must select a supersede product to add to the transfer. Use these instructions.

  1. Select Transfer > Entry > Transfer.
  2. Create or maintain a warehouse transfer.
  3. On the Advanced Line Entry page, specify the product to transfer.
    Note: If you specify a product on the Easy Line Entry page, the supersede products are displayed in the grid.
  4. On the Cross Reference page, select a supersede product and then click Submit.
  5. Click Add to add the line to the transfer.
  6. Finish the transfer.
