Reviewing EDI 820 errors on the Transaction Detail Page
- 
				 On the Documents tab, click the drill down icon for a transaction that
					contains exceptions or errors. 
				
The Transaction Detail page opens.
 - On the Errors tab, specify search criteria, including the section and types of messages, and then click Search.
 - Review the messages in the Error Description column. Determine which errors you can correct in ETCC and which errors you must correct in other functions.
 - 
				If No is displayed in the Ready to Process? field, some errors must be corrected in
						Customer Lock Box Entry. 
				
- Click the Check # hyperlink in the header to access Customer Lock Box Entry.
 - Correct the information.
 - Click Yes to schedule the update for the batch if this message is displayed: Schedule ARELU Lockbox Update?
 - Optionally, return to ETCC to change the Update Status of the document. Select the document, and the select Actions > Set Transaction Complete.
 - If the Schedule ARELU Lockbox Update? does not display, return to ETCC to correct the remaining errors.
 
 - To correct data in ETCC, click the Data tab.
 - 
				Select a Received row, and then select Action > Override Transaction. 
				
A new Override Data row is displayed in the grid, below the Received row.
 - Select the Override Data row, and then click Edit.
 - Specify the correct values, and then click Save.
 - 
				After the errors have been corrected, click Accounts Receivable - Lockbox Update to schedule the update for
					the batch. Click Yes when this
					message is displayed: Schedule ARELU Lockbox Update?.
				
You can also click Action > Update Transactions to schedule an update.
 - Refresh the grid on the Documents tab to confirm that the Update Status for the transaction is Complete.
