Monitoring nonstock products in the warehouse

The Product Entry Non Stock Count Report provides a count of nonstock products in your inventory, including the expected quantity, whether that quantity is tied to an order or not tied, and the shipping status of any tied orders.

This report can be used to conduct a physical count of your nonstock products. Any adjustments to system quantities must be made in Product Adjust Non-stock/Direct Order Entry.

See Adjusting or Correcting NS/DO Transactions.

Use the Product Non-stock/Direct Order Report to find nonstock products that are not tied to orders and are available to sell or return to the vendor.

During Sales Order Entry, you can identify a nonstock product that should be reviewed for inclusion in inventory. The customer service rep can select the option Review for Inventory, and your inventory manager is notified by Event Manager.

See Using Event Manager to Manage Nonstock Inventory.

The report shows the counts by bin location, category, and unit. It does not show the detail records by order, tied or not, or status of the order. The tied data and order status can be viewed in Product Adjust Non-stock/Direct Order Entry-Detail.
