Tenant data refresh reports updated

These changes were made to the reports that you use to copy data from one Distribution SX.e tenant to another:

  • To expedite the tenant data refresh import process, the Elasticsearch and word indexes are now automatically rebuilt in the target tenant when you run the SA Tenant Refresh - Data Import Report. As soon as a table that is related to a Elasticsearch or word index is loaded, it is validated by a conversion process. The appropriate reports, SA Index Rebuild Report and SA Word Index Rebuild Report, are then run for the index table. The rebuild reports run as the import process continues.

The Report Scheduler is available when the SA Tenant Refresh - Data Import Report is running, but only conversions and rebuild reports are processed. After the import process is complete, the Report Scheduler is shut down and the queues are inactivated. You must then review disrupted report activity and print queues before you restart Report Scheduler.

  • When you run the SA Tenant Refresh - Data Export Report, the resulting full .zip file with the data from the source tenant is now subject to an expire date. It is not available for use after seven days.

The expire date and time is included in export.YYYYMMDD.log that is generated when the export process is complete. For example: s3://infor-prd-appdata-us-east-1/openedge/TenantDump/SXEtoCSD/TENANTID.zip --expires 2021-11-16T23:59:59.000-00:00

Note: Even though the .zip file does not expire for seven days, do not run the SA Tenant Refresh - Data Import Report if the .zip file is more than five days old.
  • To load customer data faster into the target tenant, these improvements were made to the SA Tenant Refresh - Data Import Report:
    • The maximum number of threads was increased to 5.
    • The largest tables are now loaded inside the threads first to maximize the time the threads are in use.
