About upgrading

IPF architecture releases include all necessary files, including a new IPF Installer. You can upgrade the IPF architecture using the new Installer or using your existing Farm Manager.

Patch and minor release updates are delivered as individual .zip files and are easily upgraded using your existing Farm Manager. The .zip file name indicates the type of update. These are the available types:

• IPF content: ContentVersion IPF <originatorversion>.ipf.zip
• IPF architecture version: IPFVersion v<version>.zip
• Developer content (for portal customization): ContentVersion IPF <originatorversion> Dev Tools.ipf
